Boeings manufacturing facility tour

I toured the lines where they build the 747, 777, and assemble the 787.  The 787 gets shipped here in parts in the modified 747 Dream lifter then assembled in 3 days.  The 777's are built on a moving assembly line that moves at 2 inches a minute.  No pictures were allowed in the assembly building.
The building is the largest building on earth by volume.  Approximately 1/3 of a mile by 3/4 mile.  Each of the 5 doors is 100 yards long. Pretty impressive building and airplanes.

The Dream Lifter for moving 787 parts around the country. It is a modified 747.  It can carry either the fuselage or the wings and tail.

777 engine.  It is bigger diameter the a 737 fuselage and has more horse power then all the engines in the Titanic did.
