Spruce Goose, waterfalls, and Submarines

I stopped by Multnomah Falls this morning and then headed in to Portland to see the Blueback submarine.  It is the last non-nuclear submarine the US made and holds the record for longest time submerged for a non-nuc sub.  It traveled from Japan to San Diego without surfacing.  I didn't see the rest of the museum since it was some huge gathering of kids for some event. Then I traveled on to McMinnville to Evergreens museum to see the Spruce Goose and their other attractions.  The Goose is impressive.  It has a larger wing span then a 747.  It is an amazing airplane.  Tomorrow I head to the Tillamook airplane museum.
