Infantry Museum and Stone Mountain

History and examples of the M-16 series of rifles
Sorry some of the pictures aren't very clear.  No flash photos allowed.  You enter the museum and walk through a diorama starting in revolutionary war and up to desert storm.
 WWII

 Vietnam

Shotgun attachment for the M-16/M-4.  I think I need one of one of mine.

 USS Maine porthole.

 Personnel tank.

6 inch armor after being hit with different rounds.

Looking down the diorama from above.

Coca-Cola in Atlanta.  Didn't tour it at this time. Was getting to late, but plan on stopping back when I head north again.

Stone Mountain:      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_Mountain    Depicts Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis and Stonewall Jackson

They also make snow and have a tubing hill for people to ride on.  34 degrees out when I was there.
