Gettysburg Battlefield

Visited Gettysburg today.  The battlefield is huge and very interesting.
Now with visiting Pennsylvania I have been to all 50 states in almost exactly a year.  June 15, 2013 to June 12, 2014!

McPherson Ridge.  This was part of the Confederate lines

 Eternal Light Peace Memorial

Oak Ridge.  This is also part of the Confederate lines
Farm that was there during the battle.

Seminary building that was used as a hospital during the battle
 Just a cool old house!

This area of Cemetery Ridge is the "High Water Mark"which is as far north as the Confederates made it before being turned back by the Union soldiers.

Looking across the field from the ridge.  The Confederates had to cross a mile of open terrain to get to the Union soldiers!

This is the Soldiers Memorial and is where the Gettysburg address was given
