Museum of the Airforce (Part 2)

This is a life boat that was slung against the belly of an airplane and dropped to downed pilots or sailors from sunk ships.

 Kittridges gondola that he jumped out of at 102000 feet. He held the record for highest, longest, and fastest speed during a free fall for many years.  Speed and height were recently broken by the Red Bull guys with Kittridige as an adviser.
