Saw the Alamo then drove to South Padre Island. Unfortunately the weather isn't great, but I'm at the beach so it can't be all bad!

What it looked like before the battle.
You can see the original and the restored parts from the lighter and darker parts. It was restored by the military when it was used as an outpost and supply depot in the late 1800's.
Menger Hotel. Supposed to have been built on a burial site. They say it is one of the most haunted places in the US.
That hotel could be quite creepy.... that is quite a bridge not sure about that one... lol ... it took a lot for me to drive across all the ones in Canada for the first time.
